Exclusive Crucible of War Spoiler!

For many, Rhinar was considered the punchline of Welcome to Rathe.

Many tense battles have been fought against Rhinar, only for him to defeat himself when things came down to the wire.

Sometimes, his Bone Head Barrier just wasn't thick enough. Other times, his Bloodrush Bellows didn't go according to plan. Perhaps most tragically of all, sometimes Rhinar desperately invoked the ancient magicks of the Scabskin Leathers, only to pull out a Monopoly board and land on a Chance square to draw this Uno card:

But all of that didn't stop players from trying fervently to push Rhinar into the upper echelons of the meta. During the game's infancy, we saw the brief rise and fall of archetypes like Combo Brute, and even Nimblism Brute. Rhinar felt uneasy in these vestments. He knew this reliance on Generic actions was a dependency on borrowed power, that these builds weren't true to the core philosophy of the Brute lifestyle. No, Rhinar knew that to achieve total victory, he would have to decimate his opponents his way; with wanton abandon.

While Dash runs rampant across the country shooting people with her 2-handed pistol, Rhinar bides his time. Amidst the Crucible of War, Rhinar poises to assert his rightful place as the apex predator.

Some might point out that you lose some life in the process, and that the card has a block value of 3, but that's the sort of thing Bravo worries about.

Rhinar scoffs at these notions. He knows that the best defense is a good offence.

Some see that the card disadvantage usually associated with randomly discarding is negated, giving you extra cards with which to carefully plan out your offensive lines, but that's the sort of thing Katsu and Dorinthea worry about.

Rhinar knows you only need to attack once if you're intimidating enough.

Some see that Beast Within is a Yellow Line card and only pitches for 2, but that's the sort of thing Dash and other Control heroes worry about.

Rhinar knows that the best way to get value out of some cards is just to rid yourself of them.

Rhinar sees 6 Attack, and knows that all is right with the world. The opportunity to further intimidate his adversaries before an Alpha Rampage is all he's ever wanted in life. Rhinar sees that he can Arsenal this card if he's anticipating a Command and Conquer from his opponent in order to set up a brutal punishment next turn. Rhinar is ready to unleash the Beast Within.
